Small Groups

This ministry exists to answer the need many have for a more personal relationship with fellow Christians than the Sunday morning worship and Sunday School can provide. A small group typically consists of 4-12 people. These people meet at least twice monthly (weekly is preferable) to support, care, and pray for each other.

Bible study and discussion also play a large part in the life of a small group. A variety of groups can exist simultaneously in the church. Groups can be short-term (6-12 weeks) or long-term (4 months or longer). A group leader is typically a church member who has an interest in the topic as well as a desire to help shepherd others in this experience.

The Small Group Ministry is a prime example of Christian brothers and sisters using their spiritual gifts to care for each other.
