Women

The Women's Ministries of First Baptist Church provide opportunities for serving, prayer, encouragement, support, and fellowship.

The Women's Ministries host four annual events:

• February: White Cross Workday and Noon Lunch
• May: Women's Spring Event
• September: Fall Coffee Fellowship Hour
• December: Annual Christmas Tea

In addition to these events, there is participation in the community's Women's Day of Prayer Service in March.

On a more personal level, women may participate in our "Secret Sisters" ministry. This ministry provides a fun and unique opportunity to encourage, support and pray for other women within the church.

The Women's Ministries have been faithfully serving our church family, community members and individuals outside of the community through activities such as:

• Regularly sending greetings to shut-in church members and college students.
• Completing White Cross quotas such as bandages, items for Christian Centers, etc.
• Assisting at church weddings and funerals.

The Women's Ministries faithfully contribute to love gift offerings, four major mission offerings, student aid for college students, Blackhawk Camp, and the area, regional, and national ABWM (American Baptist Women's Ministries).
